Where is The Unique Seat Company located ??

We are primarily a web based business located in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, UK.

Our business address is 197 Greystones Road, Sheffield, S11 7BT and our workshop is based near to Kelham Island Museum at S3 8EN.

NB: Visits in person, to either premises, are strictly on an appointment basis only.

Do you have a retail outlet, or showroom in the UK where I can view your products ??

We do not have a retail outlet, however, we can arrange a private viewing of individual pieces of furniture (strictly by appointment only) at our workshop in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. Please contact us, by either telephone on 07712191758 or by email, enquiries@theuniqueseatcompany.co.uk so that we can arrange a mutually convenient date and time.

I would like to collect an item in person to save on postage costs. Is this possible??

Yes, absolutely, although please note that this is strictly by appointment only.

What payment options do you offer??

We offer the following payment options when buying on-line;

1. Credit/Debit Card: Payment is made securely through the Paypal website. You do not need a Paypal account to make payment in this way.

NB: Please note that if you purchase and pay for an item using Paypal as a payment option then, all the associated fees paid, by The Unique Seat Company to Paypal, will not be refunded, under any circumstances, including but not limited to, the cancellation of your order.

2. Bacs/Bank Transfer (Worldwide): Customers from outside the United Kingdom will be responsible for all Bacs/Bank Transfer charges.

3. Paypal along with Paypal Pay Later (Worldwide): Secure payment through the Paypal website.

NB: Please note that if you purchase and pay for an item using Paypal as a payment option then, all the associated fees paid, by The Unique Seat Company to Paypal, will not be refunded, under any circumstances, including but not limited to, the cancellation of your order.

4. Cheque (United Kingdom only): Please allow 10 working days for the cheque to clear. Please make cheques payable to The Unique Seat Company and send to The Unique Seat Company, 197 Greystones Road, Sheffield, S11 7BT.

5. Cash (United Kingdom only): Payment by cash is also possible if you are collecting an item from us in person.

What are your delivery costs for furniture within the UK??

All delivery costs are based on a fully insured, trackable, professional, antiques courier service. The courier will call you, several days in advance, to confirm a delivery date and will give you a two hour window when the delivery will be made.

We aim to deliver all items of furniture within 14 days from the date payment has cleared (UK only). If you have an urgent requirement for your item please contact us for further options.

Collection is possible, if preferred, from our workshop in Sheffield although this is strictly by prior arrangement only.

Other Furniture = Varies from £25.00 – £125.00 depending on piece. To find delivery costs either add item to cart and delivery cost will be shown or contact us directly.

What are the delivery costs for non-furniture items within the UK ??

Our delivery costs for non-furniture items operate on a sliding scale. See below for full details.

P&P cost = £3.50 for goods purchased between the values of £0.00 – £9.95

P&P cost = £4.95 for goods purchased between the values of £9.96 – £19.95

P&P cost = £6.95 for goods purchased between the values of £19.96 – £39.95

P&P cost = £9.95 for goods purchased between the values of £39.96 – £65.95

P&P cost = £14.95 for goods purchased between the values of £65.96 – £500.00

NB: Please note that if you purchase and pay for any item using Paypal as a payment option then, all the associated fees paid, by The Unique Seat Company to Paypal, will not be refunded, under any circumstances, including but not limited to, the cancellation of your order.

What are the delivery costs for furniture outside mainland UK??

We no longer ship items of furniture overseas. We only ship within mainland UK.

NB: Please note that if you mistakenly purchase and pay for an item of furniture using Paypal as a payment option then, all the associated fees paid, by The Unique Seat Company to Paypal, will not be refunded, under any circumstances.

What are the delivery costs for non-furniture items outside mainland UK ??

All delivery costs on the website relate to the mainland UK only. Please contact us before purchasing an item to obtain a postage cost.
