Pair of Victorian Gothic Garden Benches
A rare pair of incredible Victorian Gothic garden benches, painstakingly restored to their former glory by The Unique Seat Company. The cast iron legs have fixing holes in the feet so the bench can be bolted down, if required
The metalwork has been stripped and re-painted in Hammerite Smooth Cream outdoor paint. The wooden slats are iroko. Iroko is a substantial hardwood, very similar to teak. It can be left outside, untreated and will weather, quite quickly, into a beautiful silver grey colour or can be treated with Osmo oil, if preferred, for a more contemporary feel.
Each cast iron end carries the registration number No.1 PL 304.
Condition Report: Superb restored condition. No breaks, repairs or damage to the cast iron ends.
