Victorian Rosewood Piano Stool – Circa 1875
This immaculate,Victorian rosewood, adjustable piano stool has understated style and elegance. With circular stuffed-over seat, the base with turned central column, flanked by four serpentine legs with pierced brackets, inlaid with trailing bell husks and outlined with boxwood stringing. Re-covered in a luxurious Osborne & Little ivory velvet, by The Unique Seat Company.
Condition Report:
Condition is absolutely superb. Joints are solid. There have been no visible repairs to the frame and no sign of woodworm. There are some very minor marks and wear consistent with age and use.
